Who is the Rainwater Connection?

Bob Burgess and Rainwater Connection™ specialize in designing and installing rainwater harvesting systems specifically suited to our west coast environment. Over the past nine years, Bob has demonstrated that rainwater is a sustainable high quality water source for drinking water for your home, for commercial use, or water for your garden. The Rainwater Connection™ has been involved with hundreds of rainwater projects - from small garden water systems to large scale storage for nurseries; from small summer cottages to large integrated rainwater and well water systems providing up to 100,000 gallons of potable water per year.

Collecting clean, clear water is the trademark of the Rainwater Connection™ . We work from the outset with the owner, architect and other specialists, to create a system that blends with the home and its natural setting; collects clean water, and is easy to maintain.

The company has developed products for ease of operation and maintenance and also supplies and installs large polypropylene-lined steel tanks providing high quality potable water storage (NSF 61) 8,000 - 20,000 imperial gallons.36-91m3.

Public presentations, seminars and workshops are an important part of the Company's activities - and we actively promote water management, conservation, and the use of rainwater as a sustainable resource.

Bob's present work builds on thirty years of experience with the public, private and non profit sectors as a community planning and housing consultant in British Columbia. He developed a reputation for creative problem solving and public processes combining public and private sector perspectives to build partnerships. He was also involved in residential and commercial development and construction management.

Bob believes that collecting and storing rainwater reduces each person's water footprint an is an easy and satisfying way to preserve our natural water supply. His home/office runs entirely on rooftop collected 'sky supply'.
